Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a party with a difference, has continued the political tradition behind symbols associated with their ideology. UP CM flagged off saffron-coloured roadways buses in the state. After the BSP’s blue and the SP’s red-and-green, it is time for another colour change in Uttar Pradesh — to saffron.

Before saffron coloured buses, it was on government booklets and school bags. The list further includes certificates for sportspersons, booklets with details of awardees, certificates for beneficiaries of crop loan schemes, booklets to mark achievements of the government, information department’s diary of contact details of officials, and identity cards at the Secretariat.

50 roadways buses are the part of “gaurav paths” (link roads to villages of fallen soldiers) and that will connect interior areas. This project ‘Sankalp’ will provide road connectivity begins in Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Allahabad, Bareilly and Moradabad. Sankalp is a government’s plan to provide public transport to 40,000 villages in the next four years.
